Volunteer Opportunities at Teen Entrepreneurs of Las Vegas


Help strengthen the non-profit community for all Las Vegas by volunteering with Teen Entrepreneurs of Las Vegas!

 

We welcome the assistance of volunteers and are actively seeking assistance in several key areas:


  • Newsletter:  lay out articles for our bimonthly newsletter using our content and existing design template.  Highlight our student’s success stories and organization contributor or highlight emerging stories by writing or contribriting writers.  Time commitment:  up to six issues per year; time required per issue will depend on prior experience, but will likely decrease if you work on more than one issue, and therefore become familiar with the specifics.
  • Volunteer support: help to recruit volunteer’s business leaders to come can engage in dialogue with the students. Volunteer committee recruits, trains and supports current and potential volunteers. Recruit business owners as teachers to teach the program.
  • Conference: Assistances in the organization of our 2011 Youth Entrepreneurship Conference, helping to plan and execute help with organization the workshops and activities in relation to the conference
  • Circle of Giving: Help us strength our circle of giving. Lend your power of influence in helping with our goal to reach 10,000 students. Our concept of one person, one community reaching out to another in a cycle of reach on child at a time, we will make a difference a young person life. Time Commitment : Flexible
  • Corporate Support:  Help develop an active corporate prospects and solicitation of these prospects. Initiating contacts with potential donors. Help build the Corporate Relations team in creating and implementing strategies for cultivation, solicitation and closure, and set and achieve annual fundraising and activity goals.
    Time commitment:  Flexible
  • Fund Raising Events: Assistance in fund raising events, helping and plan quarterly fund raising events. (Golf Tournament and Gala) Time commitment: Flexible
  • Special assignments:  Lend your particular expertise to a variety of specialized initiatives: Classroom Support, Substitute Teachers, Publicity as well as adding enhanced features and functionality to the program; helping to plan and execute activities in relation to the 2011 Graduation; helping us research and analyze new programs to provide benefits to our non-profit members; and much more!
